Frequently asked questions

Will Auto Pilot change my site without asking me?+

Not by default — every project starts on the recommend-only tier, where findings sit in your approval queue until you approve them. Only projects you explicitly switch to the auto-apply tier, and only for the narrow set of fixes your connected WordPress plugin already supports (meta tags, image alt text, redirects), get applied automatically.

Does Auto Pilot cost extra credits?+

Each weekly cycle uses the same credits a manual Site Audit would (based on the page-count tier), deducted automatically from your balance. If your balance is too low for a given week, that project's cycle is skipped and retried the following week.

What if I don't have WordPress?+

Auto Pilot still runs the technical site-audit scan and generates keyword-gap/content-idea suggestions for any project — those always land in your approval queue as recommendations. Automatic fix application currently requires a connected WordPress plugin, since that's the only channel Auto Pilot has for actually pushing a change to a live site.

Can I turn it off?+

Yes — pause it from the same card on the project page at any time; past findings and history stay visible, the weekly cycle just stops running until you resume it.
