Revuin AI SEO Auditor Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 18, 2026

Revuin AI SEO Auditor is a Chrome extension that helps users audit the currently active webpage for SEO, technical SEO, structured data, social preview, link, image, and AI visibility signals.

Information the extension handles

The extension may read page-level website content from the active browser tab, including:

  • Page URL
  • Page title
  • Meta tags
  • Headings
  • Links
  • Images and image alt text
  • Structured data such as JSON-LD schema
  • Open Graph and Twitter/X metadata
  • Visible page text
  • Basic browser performance entries
  • Technical SEO resources for the active page domain, such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and llms.txt

The extension also stores user-configurable settings, such as target domain and brand name, using Chrome sync storage.

How information is used

The extension uses this information only to generate SEO audit results inside the browser popup, provide recommendations, highlight nofollow links when requested, and allow users to export audit data such as JSON or CSV files.

Data sharing

Revuin AI SEO Auditor does not sell user data. The extension does not transfer page audit data to third parties. The extension does not use user data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose unrelated to its SEO audit functionality.

Remote processing

The current version of Revuin AI SEO Auditor runs audits locally in the user's browser. Page audit data is not sent to Revuin servers. The extension may fetch publicly available technical SEO resources from the active page's own domain, such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and llms.txt, in order to complete the audit.

Data storage

The extension stores only user settings such as target domain and brand name in Chrome sync storage. Exported reports are generated locally by the user. Revuin does not store exported reports.

User control

Users can remove stored extension settings by uninstalling the extension or clearing Chrome extension data. Users can also choose whether to export audit reports.

Permissions

Revuin AI SEO Auditor uses the following Chrome permissions:

  • activeTab: Used to audit the currently active browser tab when the user opens or runs the extension.
